Service Description

American Heart Association First Aid, CPR AED, Adult, Child, Pediatric: For anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory or other requirements; or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course teaches how to: -Recognize when someone needs CPR -Perform high-quality Adult/Child/Infant CPR -Give effective breaths using protective devices for mouth-to-mouth and a breathing mask, for all ages -Recognize and handle medical emergencies for a stroke, choking and anaphylaxis w/epi-pen -Control bleeding including how to effectively apply a tourniquet The course completion card for First Aid Rescuers is valid for 2 years. (*Note: This is NOT the Healthcare Provider CPR required by hospitals and nursing programs. Choose a "BLS" Course for those programs.) Prerequisites: None. Text Book will be given the day of class.
